newly established School of Technology for Public Health (STPH) at
Arizona State University (ASU) is seeking applicants at the rank of
Assistant, Associate or Full Professor on the Tenure Track in the
thematic areas of mental health, substance use, women’s health,
children’s health, cardiometabolic disorders, infectious diseases,
injury prevention, and indigenous health. We are particularly
interested in applicants with a demonstrated track-record of
conducting cutting edge foundational and applied research drawing

leadership positions at STPH. About the School: The STPH is
establishing a new field to reimagine public health infrastructure
in the 21st century, and create more integrative, responsive, and
resilient systems to protect the health of people in Arizona and
beyond. Designed in collaboration with national leaders and
informed by listening sessions with local communities and health
departments, the school is the first-of-its- kind in the nation to
train students to be bilingual in public health and technology. By
teaching students to be “techno-fluent,” the school serves as a
catalyst to build and deploy the products, programs and systems
needed to sculpt the future of public health in this decade and
beyond. STPH is part of an exciting, vibrant, and varied research,
education, and practice community at ASU, which was named by U.S.
News and World Report repeatedly as 1 in Innovation among all
