Job Title: SVP TreasuryDepartment: Accounting Reports To: Chief Accounting OfficerPosition Summary: Responsibilities for this position include ensuring liquidity and financial stability; developing and maintaining policies and procedures related to treasury activities; advising and making recommendations with respect to the company's debt facilities; and building a process to match the company's cash needs to cash inflows. Areas of focus will also include working capital management, short and long-term cash investing, and cash forecasting.Position Responsibilities:Advise management on short-term and long-term financial objectives, policies, and actions.Analyze the financial details of past, present, and expected operations to identify development opportunities and areas where improvement is needed.Compute, withhold, and account for all payroll deductions.Conduct or coordinate audits of company accounts and financial transactions to ensure compliance with state and federal requirements and statutes.Develop cash forecasting model to model and track short-term and long-term cash needs.Coordinate and direct the financial planning, budgeting, procurement, or investment activities of all or part of an organization.Delegate authority for the receipt, disbursement, banking, protection, and custody of funds, securities, and financial instruments.Develop and maintain banking relationships.Ensure compliance with the terms of bank financing. Develop internal control policies over the cash receipts and disbursements processes.Evaluate needs for procurement of funds and investment of surpluses and make appropriate recommendations.Lead staff training and development in cash management/forecasting area.Develop investment strategy to maximize return on cash and investments while providing adequate liquidity to meet the company's needs.
