The Chief Operating Office (COO) is responsible for delivering a more consistent approach to business operations across Wells Fargo, strengthening the company's risk and control infrastructure, and delivering effective and efficient enterprise services to employees and customers.
The COO group includes the head of Operations, who is jointly responsible for line of business operations with each of the five LOB CEOs. Operations functions include contact center operations, client servicing support, money movements within our businesses, lending operations, and other functions.
The COO group also includes a number of teams dedicated to strengthening Wells Fargo's risk and control infrastructure. These include the Control Executive team; Regulatory and Policy Affairs; Enterprise Customer Excellence; Sales Practices Oversight and Management; and Strategic Execution and Operations.
The Chief Administrative Office, encompassing the Corporate Properties Group; Corporate Security; Enterprise Business Resiliency; Strategic Programs and Process Improvement; Enterprise Change Management; Supply Chain Management; and Data Management and Insights, delivers important services for our employees and customers.
The Data Analytics Quality Control team performs quality control checks for remediation data analytics work with a high degree of attention to detail. -We evaluate the accuracy, completeness, consistency and reasonability of customer remediation strategy and impact analyses, data logic and code implementation to produce remediation populations and financial impacts, and execution readiness data preparation. -We play a critical role in enhancing the quality of customer remediations data work daily.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Perform DAQC reviews including:
- Analyze Customer Remediation issues to understand and identify customers who are impacted
- Critically review remediation analytic approaches to ensure accurate data requirements
- Analyze complex SQL and SAS code to validate populations of harmed customer
- Profile data and perform quality checks to identify data outliers, issues, and inaccuracies
- Credibly challenge remediation data analytics to ensure reasonable, complete, accurate, and consistent requirements, strategies, data logic, and implementation
Perform DAQC reviews on complex remediations with challenging timelines
Critically evaluate existing DAQC processes and procedures and recommend improvements
Contribute on technical projects within the Quality Management team using SQL, SAS and other skills
Leverage business line data knowledge to assist with the creation and maintenance of business and technical requirements for infrastructure projects
Ensure adherence to data management/data governance regulations and policies

Required Qualifications
6+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: reporting, analytics, or modeling demonstrated through work or military experience; or a Masters degree or higher in a quantitative field such as applied math, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics, econometrics, computer sciences, or business/social and behavioral sciences with a quantitative emphasis and 4+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: reporting, analytics, or modeling
2+ years of SAS experience
4+ years of SQL experience
4+ years of experience with analytical methods used in statistical analysis, modeling, and reporting

Salary Information
The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.

IA-Des Moines: Min: $78,100 Mid: $110,000
SD-Sioux Falls: Min: $70,300 Mid: $99,000
AZ-Chandler: Min: $78,100 Mid: $110,000
TX-San Antonio: Min: $78,100 Mid: $110,000
NC-Charlotte: Min: $78,100 Mid: $110,000
NC-Charlotte: Min: $78,100 Mid: $110,000
MN-Shoreview: Min: $78,100 Mid: $110,000
