Corporate AccountantThe is a versatile role in a growing, international organization. The Corporate Accountant will report to the global Controller and will support a variety of accounting processes including:

• Revenue Accounting: position will require an understanding of accrued and deferred revenue related to contract billing, and will review and reconcile revenue on a monthly basis; work with the billing team to ensure timely invoicing and subsequent collection of accounts receivable.
• Sales Tax: prepare and file multi-state sales and use tax returns for the US company; work with Compliance department on registrations, licensing, and other filings required in existing and future localities.
• Expense management: Review and reconcile all corporate purchase card spending and employee expense reports; establish expense management controls in purchase card and T&E systems; validate the legitimacy of expenses and ensure accurate GL, department, and BU coding.
• Month-End closing: support closing activities for multiple entities - perform reconciliations and conduct variance analysis as needed.
• Other: This position will have involvement in most every aspect of accounting operations and will assist the Controller and CFO with special projects and future M&A needs. Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • 5 years of demonstrated experience in a hands-on, full cycle accounting role
  • ERP system experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-starter - willing to work independently and proactively
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to communicate with management at all levels Bonus Skills and Experience
    • Experience in the solar power / renewable energy industry is considered an asset.
    • Experience in a multi-location operational environment
    • M&A experience or exposure OTHER PERTINENT INFORMATION
      • Full-time position, reporting to Controller.
      • Location: Chandler, AZ (Corporate HQ) - Hybrid arrangement is feasible.
