Job Title:Head of Note FinanceLocation:AZ ChandlerWhat you'll
do:Business Title - Sr Managing Director - Note Finance,
Multi-Family, and New Business OpportunitiesAs a Senior Director
you'll be in a senior-level leadership position responsible for
executing the division's strategic plan and guiding your team in
its efforts to meet the Bank's annual growth and customer retention
targets. You'll lead a group of Commercial Bankers, Business
Development Officers, and Portfolio Management staff to expand our
market share, grow the portfolio, and deepen the relationship with
our customers. You'll be responsible for leading the growth and
development of the team's general portfolio of the assigned region
or business line (Warehouse Lending- Note Finance). While Senior
Directors spend a significant portion of their time working their
own network and top-tier customers in the portfolio, much of your
time will be devoted to supporting your team in credit structuring
discussions, portfolio health management, and market dynamics
responsiveness. You will also be tasked we leading a new initiative
to expand our presence in the Multi-Family Lending Business as well
as support the opening of our new office in New York City. This
will likely include identifying and considering new loan and
deposit business opportunities.What we are looking for: Responsible
for supporting the Division President and CEO in executing the
Bank's strategic plan, with specific focus of leading the efforts
to grow the loan and deposit portfolio of the assigned region or
business line. They are measured on their team's success in meeting
sales objectives, portfolio health, and management of market
dynamics.Develop and execute business strategies working with
National Business Lines Division President and/or Bank CEO,
including developing appropriate pricing and credit structures for
new products and leading the team in negotiating transactions with
large prospects and customers. Guides the credit structuring
development process, customer assessment, and presentation to
senior and divisional loan committees.Responsible for the team's
success in managing portfolio health, and the team's efforts to
pro-actively address deteriorating loan performance, mitigating
risk from market developments, complications in service delivery,
and product adoption.Fosters strong, healthy working relationships
with executive and senior leaders in partner departments (including
Credit Administration, Risk Management/Compliance, Loan
Administration, and other internal support departments, and
third-party services), and facilitates team's contribution to and
compliance with technical processes and requirements, risk
mitigation, efficiency, and customer service.Provides supervision
to and directs the activities of their staff; performs supervisory
tasks such as performance appraisals, disciplinary actions, and
interviewing candidates for employment; develops work schedules;
provides necessary training and coaching.QualificationsBachelor's
degree in related field required20+ years of direct, related
experience in Lending and/or Deposit Sales and/or Credit
AdministrationAdvanced knowledge of general banking operations,
including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury
management and/or other commercial banking products and
services.Advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal
compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards
and practices.Advanced knowledge of commercial credit and loan
structuring, pricing dynamics, and has market specific
awareness.Strong speaking & writing skills for internal & external
