As a Controller/Finance Director you'll oversee and manage Planned Parenthood Arizona's financial monitoring systems. This exciting opportunity will provide comprehensive financial updates to management by evaluating, analyzing and reporting appropriate data points. In addition, this position will also present monthly financial reporting to senior management and supervise accounting, payroll and purchasing staff.We are looking for someone who can thrive in wearing many different hats, managing a team through change and able to influence by working in collaboration with many different stakeholders.If you are highly self-motivated and driven by our mission, apply now!In this role, you'll get to:Manage monthly financial statement closing process including monthly balance sheet account reconciliations, income statement analysis and budget to actual analysis for all companiesProtects assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internet controlsRefines accounting procedures, systems and controls, which verify the integrity of all systems, processes and data, and enhance the agency's valueOversees the activities of the Purchasing Department, ensuring accurate processing of inventory and fixed assetsResponsible for month-end close and general ledger maintenanceOversees disbursement activities, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable, petty cash, employee expense reports, cash control, and total corporate payroll tax complianceMonitors cash flow to ensure minimum bank balance according to policy.
