It all begins with you.Enterprise Finance drives financial management for the company and maintains and enhances risk and financial controls. Key functions within Enterprise Finance include finance and accounting; Treasury; corporate development, mergers, and acquisitions; Data Management and Insights, the Customer Remediation Center of Excellence, Enterprise Shared Services, Business Process Management, and Corporate Strategy. Enterprise Finance informs shareholders, regulators, taxing authorities, team members, and leaders of the company's financial performance through earnings releases, investor meetings and conferences, and meetings with regulators and credit rating agencies, following appropriate reporting guidelines. They also maintain and enhance risk and financial controls and lead many of the company's shared services functions including corporate properties, security, and global servicesThe Enterprise Compromised Data (ECD) team is responsible for leading the assessment, investigation, and mitigation of compromised data incidents across the Wells Fargo enterprise, including ensuring data breach notifications to government regulators and individuals are handled appropriately domestically and internationally.The Operational Risk Consultant 5 role will report directly to the Business Initiatives Sr. Manager. This individual will bring strategic and industry leading expert subject matter knowledge as well as initiative management and business implementation and execution skills to the team. Specifically this team member will support the Internal Review Team and the Business Initiative Team managers and their team members to align data related solutions and establish strategies for execution, growth and sustainment. This role will require a focus on effective collaboration, the ability to multi-task between competing priorities and implementation of solutions to understand business opportunities and find data systems and automation to align to the target state.The CandidateTo thrive in this fast-paced environment, the successful candidate must have demonstrated ability to learn rapidly and solve problems dynamically, excellent and insightful communication skills to unite diverse opinions, high degree of initiative with a strong drive for results, and strong interpersonal skills to build relationship and agreements between partners. The candidate will support both the Internal Review Team and Business Initiatives Team programs and is also expected to effectively collaborate with the Governance and Incident Response teams. Coordination and engaging Target Operating Model stakeholders- ensuring all parties are communicating and prioritizing medium to high risk initiatives effectively crossing multiple business lines Coordination of Target Operating Model planning sessions- accountable for scheduling, logistics, planning, minutes and action items with all stakeholders Represent the ECD COE on various partner or enterprise initiatives where subject matter or industry standard expertise is required Executes strategy of Target Operating Model/COE narratives for socialization Tracking progress and development of Internal Review Team initiatives against SHRP issues, Testing & Validation time lines, etc. Additionally tracking progress and development of Business Initiatives against Target Operating Model road map Effectively managing headwinds and risks with business leaders Coordination and execution of all Target Operating Model/COE budget tracking and reporting Responsible for strategy and subject matter expertise of Enterprise Compromised Data activities for Business Process Management/Business Process Risk Management and Self-Assurance. Participation as subject matter expert in sprint activities/factory sessions and manages the remediation activities within the Enterprise Compromised Data team Evaluates and analyzes adequacy and effectiveness of policies, procedures, processes, systems and internal controls; identifies operational risk issues and may participate in the development of risk ratings Consults with the businesses to develop corrective action plans and effectively manages change Develop, design and implement various initiatives to ensure policy, process, program adherence Create and develop various presentations for leadership and management for a variety of strategic initiatives in concert with peers Develops business cases to influence executive management or management committees/head of businesses on the need for controls to mitigate risk May oversee standards and requirements for business related tracking and reportingPreferred locations are listed on the posting but will consider candidates across the Wells Fargo foot print.Required Qualifications10+ years of experience in compliance, operational risk management (includes audit, legal, credit risk, market risk, or the management of a process or business with accountability for compliance or operational risk), or a combination of both; or 10+ years of IT systems security, business process management or financial services industry experience, of which 5+ years must include direct experience in compliance, operational risk management, or a combination of bothDesired QualificationsAdvanced Microsoft Office skillsExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsStrong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracyAbility to interact with all levels of an organizationAbility to articulate complex concepts in a clear mannerAbility to identify inefficiencies, opportunities to streamline business processes, and implement changeAbility to influence across all organizational levels, particularly senior managementOther Desired Qualifications Experience with regulations and laws affecting data compromise including the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA 501b), General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), U.S. state and jurisdictions data breach laws and foreign laws and regulations Experience in multiple areas of operational risk management, including regulatory compliance, financial crimes risk, and risks related to the consumer protection and general banking regulations Incident investigation expertise including experience leading or participating in an incident response team for incidents that may impact the following areas of expertise; financial crimes, technology, fraud, third party service providers, privacy and information security Ability to take on a high level of responsibility, initiative, and accountability Proven success contributing in high-performing teams and execution of project initiatives within target operating models Experience in building programs, processes, procedures and quality assurance activities Experience in developing, executing and overseeing control expectations and standards Strong conflict management skills that lead to increased collaboration and engagement in challenging situations Proven track record of successfully managing deliverables, and remediation concepts and practices Previous experience in the development and delivery of data to support Audit, Risk, Compliance or regulatory testing Demonstrated ability to build partnering relationships across the company at all levels Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills Ability to effectively drive results, provide feedback/direction, and manage and build relationships with leaders and team members in a geographically dispersed team environment Understanding expectations of SHRP remediation including corrective actions and milestones Ability to adapt to changing and competing priorities Ability to effectively multi-task and successfully work on several unrelated projects at the same time Expert multi-tasker, a master planner, and a flexible thinker who can balance multiple objectives and work with teams in multiple locations Significant experience working on large-scale organizational initiativesJob ExpectationsAbility to travel up to 25% of the timeStreet AddressAZ-Chandler: 2600 S Price Rd - Chandler, AZMN-Minneapolis: 600 S 4th St - Minneapolis, MNNC-Charlotte: 1525 W Wt Harris Blvd - Charlotte, NCDisclaimerAll offers for employment with Wells Fargo are contingent upon the candidate having successfully completed a criminal background check.
