and articulate EdPlus Financial Intake Specialist to join our
high-performing team in the Success Coaching Center. Every day, you
will make a difference in the lives of others by assisting with the
completion of necessary financial aid documents to ensure students
are eligible for their financial aid certification. You will also
perform outreach to students (and, where applicable, other
institutions) to facilitate the collection of documentation to
complete files. You will also answer general financial aid
questions for students and work to resolve any obstacles to the
students’ progress. Essential Duties: Collects and reviews
financial aid documents for completeness, accuracy, and consistency
of data from FAFSA, federal tax returns, financial aid transcripts,
and other verification documents. Requests additional information
regarding incomplete or inconsistent applications. Answers
questions, inquiries, or requests of students and staff regarding
financial aid eligibility and awards. Works as a liaison between
staff and students to ensure optimal student experience and
processing times. Serves as part of a support team for online
students. Manages outbound call/ text/email campaigns as instructed
by the Lead to ensure financial aid file completion. Proactively
partners with the FASS team to escalate students requiring tier 2
assistance. Follows up on document/student action requests as
directed by Lead to ensure accurate, timely receipt of financial
aid information Assumes or coordinates other duties or projects as
assigned or directed. Desired Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or
higher in a related field. Experience in providing customer
service. Experience in supporting students from diverse backgrounds
via telephone, email, video, and chat. Experience using customer
relationship management systems. Demonstrated ability to
multi-task. Demonstrated knowledge of financial aid policies and
procedures. Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced call center environment.
Demonstrated knowledge of government rules, regulations,
guidelines, and procedures related to financial aid. NOTE: Please
