Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A school-based position is available for a skilled Sign Language Interpreter to support educational settings in Glendale, AZ. This role involves facilitating communication between deaf or hard-of-hearing students and their teachers, staff, and peers to ensure an inclusive and accessible learning environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide accurate and effective sign language interpretation during classroom lessons, meetings, and school events. Collaborate closely with educators and support staff to promote understanding and address communication needs. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while supporting a diverse student population. Travel between school locations as required to fulfill assignment duties. Desired Qualifications: Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) with demonstrated interpreting experience in educational settings.
