Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.
Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be
considered. This opportunity is for a Special Education Teacher to
support a K-7 classical charter school serving approximately 500
students. The position involves sharing a caseload currently
consisting of 27 students, with the potential for an increase
pending ongoing evaluations. The role focuses primarily on grades 4
through 7, although flexibility across K-7 may be required
depending on caseload distribution. Location: Sahuarita, AZ Grade
Levels: K-7 (focus on grades 4-7) Job Type: Contract Duration:
Start ASAP May 29th Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to
3:30 PM Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with a well-established
Special Education team including School Psychologist,
Speech-Language Pathologist, and Occupational Therapist. Serve
students in compliance with individualized education programs and
state regulations. Administer and interpret academic assessments,
including the WIAT, to inform instruction. Support inclusive
learning environments within a classical educational setting.
Communicate regularly with chartering district supports and team
members. Participate in team meetings and contribute to the
refinement of special education services. Preferred Qualifications
and Experience: Experience working with K-12 special education
students, preferably within a charter school or classical education
context. Familiarity with academic evaluations and interventions,
including use of WIAT testing. Strong collaboration skills and
willingness to learn established systems and protocols. Ability to
manage and adapt to a variable caseload efficiently. This role
