We are a remote-first FinTech company looking for an experienced, hands-on Engineering lead to join our team. You will split time between technical engagement (writing code, performing code reviews, developing system architecture improvement proposals) and building/managing a team of engineers. Responsibilities:

• Partner with the product team to oversee the engineering team resources and ensure that projects are delivered with high quality.
• Architect and initially code new products and features. Create a continuous integration foundation for your team that uses and contributes to Array's best practices.
• Ensure products are delivered with the expected level of quality, fulfilling the expectations created in the amount of time agreed upon, in partnership with the Product Manager
• Identify risks and put in place mitigation plans, escalating where necessary
• Collaborate cross-functionally to facilitate the engineering team and remove roadblocks.
• Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to engineers
• Contribute to system architecture improvement projects
• Cultivate a secure code writing culture to ensure that security is baked into the platform Skills/Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of software development experience building SaaS products
  • Experience architecting complex, distributed systems, including high-uptime REST APIs used by major companies
