The RoleEntegris is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join a dynamic team within the Instrumentation organization in Chandler Arizona, supporting particle sizing and concentration technologies used in high purity liquid chemical processes for semiconductor manufacturing.
In this role you will

• Serving as the subject matter expert in electronic development and regulatory compliance (RoHS, EMC, Safety, Hazardous Location).
• Designing, reverse engineering, developing and maintaining embedded product and test electronics, including oversight of electronics manufacturing at local and overseas suppliers.
• Integrating technologies such as sensors and brushless/stepper motors for use in microprocessor-based systems with serial digital communications.
• Testing, debugging, qualifying, and documenting product assemblies.
• Hosting design reviews and technical meetings, steering technical discussions and analysis of technical evidence.
• Driving new product designs and modifications to existing product designs to manufacturing for full-scale production.
• Working closely with other engineering disciplines (electrical, software, mechanical, quality, test, manufacturing, purchasing and supply chain) to integrate all final product aspects.
• Creating technical documentation and specifications.
• Exhibiting sounds judgement and decision making based on schedule and cost impact.
  Traits we believe make a strong candidate
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 7+ years of Engineering experience.
  • Design experience with Altium cad package strongly desired. OrCAD, Mentor Graphics, PADs or KiCad required.
  • PCB layout experience is desirable.
  • Ability to proficiently use fundamental electrical engineering lab tools such as oscilloscopes, multi-meters, data-acquisition units, and PC-based software tools.
  • Experience with 8, 16, and 32-bit microprocessor-based systems.
  • Experience with FPGA preferred.
  • Experience with RoHS, CE, FDA, and/or UL agency compliance.
  • Experience with product testing, verification, and documentation.
  • Experience with SPI, UART and RS232 communication protocol.
  • Ability to create precise documentation and reports without supervision.
  • Experience with Python preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively & respectfully in a team-based & multi-national global engineering environment.
  • Willingness and ability to be self-motivated and work well in a fast-paced design environment.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills along with efficient project management skills.
  • Excellent fundamental computer skills are required. PC maintenance and basic MS-Windows software experience (MSWord, Excel, Visio, and Access).
  • Willingness and ability to be self-motivated and work well in a fast-paced design environment; ideal candidate must have ability to work effectively & respectfully in a team-based & multi-national global engineering environment.
