history.Defines and monitors mission assurance program
specifications and processes to ensure mission success of programs.
Performs or assures quality, risk management, safety, reliability
and maintainability of program achievements, subcontractors, and
suppliers in accordance with contractual requirements.Assesses
supplier performance and risks, and as a team member of the
Supplier Quality Organization: Collaborates with program
management, engineering, subcontracts/procurement functional
management and supplier management teams to ensure that
procurements meet or exceed the purchase order
requirements.Candidate will be responsible for providing technical
support and quality oversight in the acquisition of various
ordnance related products or systems for various launch
applications.This includes ensuringsupplier quality requirements
are met as well as assisting with supplier assessments.The position
will include evaluating waivers, deviations and discrepancy
reporting process (Material Review Board) for product
acceptance.The candidate will evaluates supplier-non-conformances,
negative performance trends and failures and determines root cause
and implements corrective and preventive actions.This requires
knowledge of discrepant material procedures.Manages or performs
source inspection processes, Hardware Acceptance Reviews, and
coordinates action with the supplier as required.This also includes
review of component drawings and specifications related to the
hardware being procured. Experience in inspection planning a
plus.Knowledge of materials or material sciences preferred.Travel
is an essential function of this position (approximately 25%) and
may be on short notice.Work schedule includes 9/80 schedule (9
hours per day, 9 days every 2 weeks, every other Friday off).
Remote work location will be considered for qualified
candidate.Minimum Qualification:5 years experience with Mission and
Quality Assurance + an Engineering DegreeSalary Range: $98,700 USD
- $148,100 USD Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus
in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward
individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in
company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions
may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop
