A Kforce client is seeking to hire a Sr. to Principal FPGA Design Engineers in Chandler, Arizona (AZ).

Summary:
We are working directly with the Hiring Manager on these search assignments. The job includes all areas of VHDL development including creating requirements for VHDL designs, selection of host programmable devices (FPGA or other), simulation/modeling of VHDL design, implementation of design, and hardware testing onto host FPGA. Senior and Principal FPGA Design Engineers will test of overall communication system, and documentation of the design-VHDL design.

Responsibilities include:

• Performs complex electrical engineering duties following designated standards and procedures
  
• Senior and Principal FPGA Design Engineers work closely with engineering disciplines
  
• Duties require application of engineering principles and techniques
  
• Senior and Principal FPGA Design Engineers may supervise subordinate engineering staff and lead design efforts
  
• Incumbents of this position regularly exercise discretionary and substantial decision-making
