Engineering group is hiring for a Sr. Principal Engineer
Aeronautical professional at our Chandler, AZ location.Essential
Functions:Based on specific stated objectives, performs analysis,
design, or test of one or more complex materials, structural
components or functional systems of company products. Use advanced
structural and product design engineering software tools. Solid
knowledge of GD&T principles and application to designsWith
minimal guidance, studies basic design concepts and criteria for
complex materials, components, or functional systems. Applies
engineering principles to adapt or improve upon heritage features
from previous successful designs of a similar natureMakes an extra
effort to provide quality customer service. Constantly seeks new
sources of information and provides information necessary to meet
customer needsDemonstrates a willingness to seek creative, new and
different ways to accomplish outcomes. Demonstrates a willingness
to seek creative, new and different ways to accomplish
outcomesPerform complex engineering design, development, analysis,
and/or test activities to support assigned projectsDevelop test
programs as needed to evaluate system elements, such as materials,
structural components, etc.Manage test activities and test article
fabrication, including documentation of resultsDetermine
engineering tasks required for project planning and
executionInteract with senior customer personnel on significant
technical matters, often requiring coordinated activity across
organizational linesPerform research for related engineering
projectsRepresent the organization as a contact on projectsBasic
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline (Science,
Technology, Engineering or Math) with 9 years of related
engineering experience; OR a Master's degree in STEM with 7 years
of related engineering experience, or a PhD in STEM with 4 years of
related engineering experienceActive US DoD Secret Security
clearance, or higherPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's
in Aerospace or Mechanical engineeringActive US DoD Top Secret
Security ClearanceSolid written and verbal communication
skillsKnowledge in carbon compositesNX or other CAD
experienceGD&T trainingAbility to present technical content to
peers and project groupsFamiliarity with Matlab, Python, LinuxThis
position reports to Chandler, AZ, USA, however, this position can
also be worked from Chandler, AZ, AZ, USA.Salary Range: $108,600
USD - $163,000 USDEmployees may be eligible for a discretionary
bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to
reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share
in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director
positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition,
