Engineer- Flexible Packaging Location: Tucson, AZ (Onsite) Position
Overview: The Manufacturing Maintenance Engineer will lead
maintenance operations within a high-speed manufacturing
environment. This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives on
solving complex technical challenges, improving equipment
reliability, and driving operational performance. You will oversee
preventive maintenance strategy, support automation initiatives,
and partner cross-functionally to maximize uptime and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and develop the maintenance team to
ensure equipment reliability and minimal downtime Own and optimize
preventive and predictive maintenance programs Troubleshoot and
resolve issues across automated manufacturing systems Drive
continuous improvement in uptime, maintenance efficiency, and cost
control Manage maintenance projects, equipment upgrades, and
process improvements Oversee spare parts inventory and maintenance
planning systems Analyze performance data and implement corrective
actions Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical,
Electrical, Industrial, Systems Engineering, or related field 4–8
years of manufacturing engineering experience (STRONG Preference
for Flexible Packaging experience) Strong background in industrial
equipment troubleshooting and repair Hands-on experience with PLCs,
VFDs, pneumatics, hydraulics, control systems, 3-phase motors, and
electrical systems Experience with CMMS/ERP systems and maintenance
planning Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to drive
accountability and results Strong analytical, problem-solving, and
