Advanced Effector Guidance Systems (AEGS) Department within
Raytheon Hardware Engineering provides Electrical Systems
Engineering to develop Electronic Systems solutions for products
across the Raytheon portfolio. Our core electrical engineering
responsibilities include architecture, requirements, integration,
and test. Our core electrical engineering technologies include
RF/RADAR, Navigation/IMU/GPS, Data Link/Communication, Digital, and
Power. We partner with several Electrical Product Team departments
that provide the detailed design of our electrical products as well
as systems teams. The AEGS Department is searching for a Senior
Principal RF CCA Lead for the Ultra Electronics Product to provide
technical oversight and direction for the RF subsystems (Ultra Blk1
and Ultra Blk2), responsible for the production engineering
execution for Ultra RF CCAs to meet monthly Ultra Electronics
Product deliveries. This lead will be responsible for monitoring
the factory for RF issues and leading a multi-disciplinary team of
RF SMEs, REAs and Suppliers to resolve production roadblocks. This
role includes assessing obsolescence and producibility issues and
driving technical approach for resolving them. What You Will Do
Provide technical oversight and leadership for an interdisciplinary
team developing an RF subsystem and its component CCAs Act as the
technical interface between individual contributors and program
leadership Work in a factory lab setting to accomplish testing of
circuit card assembly and its next higher assembly Travel as
required to oversee supplier activities. Responsible for Technical,
Cost, and Schedule Execution. Be responsible for the technical
integrity of RF CCAs for the Ultra Electronics Unit, including the
Technical Data Package (TDP) development, validation, and
integration with Test Equipment (TE) Manage costs and schedule for
the design, verification, and hardware procurement Manage technical
risk for electronics Technical oversight of failure investigations
Support component level design and test reviews Manage transition
to production and early Production units Raytheon has a strong

Qualifications You Must Have: Typically requires a bachelor’s
degree in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience Ten (10)
years of experience in one or more of the following areas: RF
product and subassembly design, integration, and production support
Analog, digital, and power electronics design, integration, and
production support Deconvolving high level requirements into
actionable design electronics and subsystem architectures
Experience in RF sub-systems, systems engineering, requirement
development, requirement validation, Circuit Card Assembly (CCA)
Design, RF Test Integration (including RF Test Solutions), and/or
RF Supplier Management on an effector-based product Qualifications
We Prefer Prior experience as a technical leader of an RF hardware
design activity Advanced degree in engineering, mathematics,
physics, or related engineering degrees. Systems engineering
thought process with analytical skills background. Highly
self-motivated individual that can perform multidiscipline work
Electrical subsystems typically contain antennas, analog RF circuit
cards, digital circuit cards, and configurable logic so the ideal
candidate will have a background in designing and troubleshooting
of one or more of these components. Ideal candidates will also have
experience in project leadership, systems engineering and
architecture and have a desire to grow to a higher level. Able to
network / influence outside of the AEGS Department with other
design and production support organizations, program leadership,
other engineering disciplines and Manufacturing organizations.
Interpersonal skills with the ability to interact positively with
peers, suppliers, management, and customers in a production
environment. Proven experience in balancing engineering process
discipline and innovation for rapid development and program
success. Experience working with missiles or similar systems.
Ability to effectively work multiple tasks and priorities.
Knowledge of mixed signal electronics. Design and test experience
in areas such as broadband/superheterodyne receiver design, cascade
analysis, automatic gain control (AGC) scheduling, filter design
and fabrication, circuit card assembly design and fabrication,
high-speed data converter test/characterization, and high-power RF
design or test. Background in designing for manufacturability,
producibility, and cost constraints, including yield and margin
analysis. Improve production yield on RF circuit cards Able to dive
into trade space between system needs and product requirements
Experience in production execution and oversight in a technical
environment. Experience managing TDP and processing IRs, CNs, and

132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good
faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX
