Corporate Risk helps all Wells Fargo businesses identify and manage risk. The team focuses on several key risk types, including conduct, credit, financial crimes, information security, interest rate, liquidity, market, model, operational, regulatory compliance, reputation, strategic, and technology risk. The group provides leadership, enhances communications, assists with problem identification and solutions, and shares best practices. In addition, the group provides an enterprise-wide view of risk, assists management and our Board of Directors in identifying and monitoring risks that may affect multiple lines of business, and takes appropriate action when business activities exceed the risk tolerance of the company.
Conduct Management is the company's front line ethics and allegation management function, responsible for team member experience, end-to-end investigations, and enterprise platform management and reporting. We focus on team member feedback to drive operational excellence in our company's ethics program to ensure that team members are protected and feel comfortable raising concerns.
The Business Excellence Team is responsible for establishing and maintaining the operational infrastructure for Conduct Management and for providing centralized support and services across the Conduct Management organization to meet our strategic priorities.
This role within the Chief Administration Office under Business Excellence will report to the Administration Leader. This role will be primarily responsible for policy adherence and administration activities. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Partner with Compliance, the Control Executive team, and Conduct Management leaders and team members to understand and evaluate corporate policy impacts to Conduct Management
  • Establish and execute sustainable, proactive processes and controls to ensure policy impacts are appropriately identified and assessed, documented, monitored, reported, and escalated timely
  • Become the subject matter expert on corporate policies that impact our team members or groups and execute processes that ensure we are always in compliance; provide consultation to Conduct Management groups
  • Serve in policy-related roles on behalf of Conduct Management, such as Business Continuity Plan administrator and End User Computing Tool coordinator
  • Execute administration activities to support our Conduct Management teams, including master calendaring, smart distribution list maintenance, org chart support, and operating model documentation
  • Execute administration activities to support our CAO team, including team meeting scheduling and document preparation, tracking and reporting on BAU build out, maintaining CAO reporting inventory and process/procedure inventory, managing the CAO support mailbox, and maintaining CAO content on SharePoint sites
  • Ensure strong documentation of process and procedure, clean and effective support files and reporting to support senior leader decision-making, proactive execution, consistent delivery, and continuous improvement for all areas of responsibilityPreferred locations are Des Moines, Minneapolis, Phoenix, and Charlotte.

    Required Qualifications
    • 6+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: administrative support, project management, implementation, business operations or strategic planning demonstrated through work or military experience

      • Experience building partnerships and consulting effectively with leadership
      • Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment
      • Ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships
      • Ability to present results of analyses and recommendations to senior leaders
      • Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members
      • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills
      • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
      • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
      • Experience in compliance or risk management setting
