Northrop Grumman Space Systems - Launch and Missile Defense Systems division is seeking a Business Operations Manager, supporting our Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) Program. This position will be located in Chandler, Arizona. Within Launch & Missile Defense Systems Division, the Launch Vehicles Business Unit is responsible for the technical and program management associated with design, procurement, manufacture, integration, test, operation and servicing of a wide range of aerospace components, subsystems, systems and services. Including, but not limited to: Launch Vehicles, Target Vehicles for missile defense and Support Services for Commercial, Defense and Government / Civil customers. The NGI program is responsible for Prime contract management, integration and execution to develop an advanced interceptor booster, kill vehicle and ground support system to meet emerging intercontinental ballistic missile threats against the United States. The program will manage the design, procurement, manufacture, integration, test, operation and servicing of all aerospace components, subsystems, systems and services. This procurement is designated as a major defense acquisition program by the U.S. Department of Defense and is in support of the Missile Defense Agency. Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: **This position requires an active DoD /secret clearancProvide direct support to the program Vice President and other program leadership for the NGI program. Build relationships with program managers and functional staff to enable success in achieving program goals / objectivesSupport new program startup, including planning, baselines, scheduling and earned value reporting leading to successful execution.Oversee status and timely reporting of program escalation, reviews and metrics.Support review of financial information with the finance team to include Quarterly EAC updates, Yearly Revenue/Cash Forecast, and Development of the Yearly Operating Plan.Support program proposal developmentIdentify gaps and resources needed to assist programs in successful contract executionIdentify opportunities for continuous improvement with a focus on internal and external customer service excellence.Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with minimum of 7 years experience in a technical, business or related field, with DoD Secret ClearanceMinimum of 5 years relevant experience or Master's degree with 3 years relevant experiencePossess a broad background with a varying portfolio of experiences, not inclusive of or limited to, Programs, Engineering, Manufacturing, Global Supply Chain, Quality/Mission AssuranceAbility to see a need and drive solution to completion, innovative thinkerAbility to effectively support and integrate large diverse teams, across multiple locations.Excellent interpersonal, written, and presentation skills.
