Summary:

Aveanna Healthcare is currently searching for a Director of Information Technology, AMS to join our growing Information Technology team. This position reports directly to the Senior Director of Infrastructure, and will lead all aspects of the Infrastructure, Cloud, Engineering, Collaboration, and Operations functions for our growing AMS line of business. This leadership role will be responsible for developing the strategy and roadmap for his/her area of responsibility as well as delivery and ongoing support for mission critical systems. Ideal candidates will have a broad-based background in infrastructure, desktop, and operations and experience leading a diverse team providing IT services across a global organization. Working closely with key stakeholders and other IT leaders, he/she will drive the implementation of technology that will bring scale to Aveanna in support of a rapid growth agenda. Core Responsibilities:
This role will collaborate with key Aveanna IT and business functions and other IT leaders to deliver the business objectives and contribute to operational excellence. The Director of IT, AMS will lead, plan, organize, and direct the activities of the infrastructure, cloud, networking, telecom, collaboration, workplace services, operations, and service desk teams to deliver, maintain, and support critical IT services for Aveanna's AMS line of business.
Design, develop, and implement standards in his/her area of responsibility
Lead the deployment of large-scale, global programs such as migration of infrastructure and services to Aveanna's standard suite
Manage data center and hosting operations as well as business continuity / disaster recovery planning and test execution
Provide thought leadership and influence to enable the team to embody digital business capabilities
Liaise with IT Business Partners, functional and operational leaders to develop the roadmap/strategy and oversee large programs for your area of responsibility
Partner with global counterparts in other regions to develop a global infrastructure and operations strategy in line with the overall IT strategy
Collaborate with project teams and application teams to ensure that new services and upgrades are implemented without adverse impact the company's critical core system.
Continually identify opportunities to drive efficiency, cost savings and scale for IT while supporting the growth of the organization
Negotiate and oversee vendor contracts for licensing, maintenance, implementation, operations, and ongoing support as required to ensure IT SLAs are met in cost effective ways
Conduct periodic evaluation of global licenses and services to ensure appropriate licensing levels, re-evaluating needs, and confirming cost / budget alignment
Establish and direct the change management, incident management, critical incident response, and other core IT processes within the AMS line of business in collaboration with IT leadership counterparts
Develop plans to identify and fix root causes of outages and incidents following agreed upon change control and release management processes
Act as point of escalation for IT service delivery concerns from the business and IT management, ensuring business impacts are identified and discussed within AMS
Enforce global Aveanna policies, standards and governance to align with IT, Clinical, Legal and Compliance

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; preferred Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA), Information Technology or related field.
7+ years of infrastructure and operations experience, with a proven track record of success in a similar role
7+ years of demonstrated competence in people and project management and leadership across diverse departments or teams
5+ years' experience managing large scale technology projects
Extensive cloud engineering and operations experience (Microsoft Azure preferred)
Experience managing company run data centers and operations
Strong experience with Microsoft O365 deployments and support, desktop services, and collaboration services (Teams, SharePoint, One Drive, and other Microsoft services)
Experience managing telecom infrastructure and services including WAN, LAN, ISP, and call centers
Experience managing mobility services in both BYOD and company issued / managed device scenarios
Experience with cyber security and security operations preferred
Experience negotiating large contracts with IT vendors
Experience negotiating, establishing and managing service provider contracts
Strong business acumen
Agile and dev/ops experience preferred
ITIL Foundations or more advanced level of ITIL certification
Experience implementing ITIL within an IT department or function
Strong organizational, multi-tasking and interpersonal skills.
Superior verbal, written, and presentation skills
Exceptional leadership, relationship development and influencing skills.
Ability to analyze and interpret critical path, draw conclusions, and prepare clear and concise analyses and recommendations.
