In this role you will assist with issue management activities within the EPM Center of Excellence, including timely execution and closure of remediation efforts impacting EPM in partnership with key risk and control partners.-- Responsible for synthesizing and organizing information in a fast-paced environment, driving root cause identification, developing effective corrective actions, and organizing into clear, concise presentations.This role offers an experienced issues management or compliance professional, HR auditor, or HR professional, the opportunity to work in a fast paced, collaborative team, leading and executing high priority work efforts across Enterprise Performance Management.Candidates will lead identification of issues and develop effective remediation efforts and will partner collaboratively with performance management and compensation subject matter experts, as well as Legal, Risk, and Audit, to support timely closure of remediation efforts.Key responsibilities:

  • Support governance and oversight across EPM issue management to ensure effective identification of issues, ensure appropriate develop of remediation and corrective actions, and effective execution of corrective actions.
  • Facilitate execution of appropriate root cause analysis for all identified issues.--
  • Design effective corrective action plans based on root cause analysis in partnership with risk and control partners and EPM team.
  • Identify and manage issues management dependencies from issues identification through closure
  • Plan, schedule and track timelines and milestones using appropriate tools to manage issue corrective actions.
  • Report regular status updates and tracking of execution on issues.
  • Develop regulatory responses specific to performance management in partnership with risk and business partners.
  • Support audit and regulator readiness for remediation efforts.
  • Champion and promote change within EPM, specifically in alignment with enterprise-wide operational and process improvement initiatives.
  • Build, develop and grow business relationships vital to the success of the issue management process across front line, independent risk management and key stakeholders
  • Work across the EPM team to create a culture that fosters self-identification of business and operational issues.
  • Maintain an understanding of the Wells Fargo Risk Management Framework and the interconnectivity of its key component
  • Staying up to date on the Issue Management Governance procedures and how they impact EPM issue management

    • 6+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: project management, implementation, or strategic planningDesired Qualifications
      • 3+ years of compliance experience
      • Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills
      • Ability to translate and present complex data in a manner that educates, enhances understanding, and influence decisions
      • Ability to identify risk factors and ensure enactment of appropriate controls
      • Military experience in personnel benefits management, processing military personnel orders or transitions, wartime readiness operations, human resources or military recruiting
      • Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment
      • Ability to articulate issues, risks, and proposed solutions to various levels of staff and management
      • Strong, clear and concise written and oral communication skills
      • Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision in a structured environment
      • 1+ years of HR systems experience (e.g. PeopleSoft, Oracle, SAP, Workday)
      • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills
      • A BS/BA degree or higherOther Desired Qualifications
        • Risk, Audit, Control Testing or Human Resources experience
        • Meaningful knowledge across the enterprise risk management framework, including risk identification, risk appetite and strategy, risk-related decisions, processes and controls, risk analytics and governance
        • Experience planning and organizing cross functional work, building teams, and managing stakeholder groups to drive complex, high-priority efforts through to completion
        • Experience working in a regulated industry with large-scale HR processes in a constantly changing environment.
        • Strong interpersonal, influencing, and communications skills with an ability to interact effectively with stakeholders and regulators
        • Deep understanding of ever-evolving governance processes and regulatory environments
        • Sense of urgency, passion for results, and personal accountability for achievement.Disclaimer
