Business Line Description:NXP's Advanced Power Systems (APS) product line is seeking a project and program manager with expertise in power management devices. As a program manager for the APS product line at NXP, you will be working on leading edge power management devices for exciting automotive applications in Infotainment, Networking, Radar and Ultra-Wide Band. You will play a key role in the roadmap execution, development, and delivery of next generation automotive PMICs fueling the growth of the Connected Power Segment. Successful Candidates should have in-depth semiconductor industry experience with strong knowledge and experience in new product introduction management for power management IC products such as DC-DC regulator, linear regulator, automotive battery connected devices and highly integrated PMIC.Job Summary:Responsible for managing/driving multi-disciplinary engineering core teams for defining, developing, and delivering to APS's automotive product requirements and timeline.Develop and maintain NPI Program overall planning, development targets, resource tracking and budget throughout the product life cycleUtilize NXP's program management flow and tools, for project tracking, gate reviews, business financials, core team management, ...Driving and delivering project metrics and on-time reportsKey Challenges:Inspire a team to the highest levels of performanceAbility to successfully drive a team made up of multiple engineering and business disciplinesCross functional aspects:Driving project execution and ensure alignment with all project teams (IC Architecture and Design, SW, Applications, Product and Test, Development Boards, Marketing, Documentation, Finance)Aligning with other corporate NXP organizations and general business strategyQualifications/Experience:BSEE, advanced degree preferredA successful candidate will have at least 10 years' experience in the semiconductor industry with a strong track record of driving IC programs, SoC design and/or embedded software projects> 5 years as Program / Project Manager on complex NPI projects.Subject matter background in SoC design, SW development, product/test development or applications is desiredStrong Program Management skills and experience in managing complex technical projects including hardware & softwareMS Project and/or Sciforma or other Product and Portfolio Management tool experiencePMI/PMP certification desirable but not requiredStrong foundational knowledge and program management approach to drive NPI execution within established timelines and target costsExcellent communication and leadership skillsAbility to drive business and innovationAbility to quickly recognize and articulate barriers and critical path to success across teamsStrong analytical skills and familiarity with complex environmentsStrongly oriented toward process improvement and operational excellenceA highly effective leader who can develop and inspire a team to the highest levels of performanceStrong interpersonal and communication skillsCritical thinking skills and proficient in risk and issue managementExperience of ISO26262 Functional Safety product management preferred.Job location: Chandler, AZ USANXP is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer regardless of age, color, national origin, race, religion, creed, gender, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and/or expression, marital status, status as a disabled veteran and/or veteran of the Vietnam Era or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local law.
