Description: The Deputy Program Operations Manager will work in
conjunction with the POM to interface between the program office,
the customer and factory functions. This position will be in
support of the Targets portfolio of programs, supporting critical
Missile Defense Agency needs. The Deputy POM will be responsible
for leading, communicating and influencing the manufacturing of
large missile sections. The deputy will support all operations
activities, including cost, quality and schedule. The deputy will
be responsible for the overall manufacturing performance of the
program and will promote continuous improvement by influencing
change in factory processes and within the program.Responsibilities
include: ---Change agent to improve material flow and empowerment
within subassembly integration utilizing lean practices and visual
management---Establish and execute all operations plans, including,
material, manufacturing, integration of large and complex
subassemblies with associated testing---Develop assembly and
manpower forecast---Develop schedules and lead the manufacturing
team to meet program objectives---Establish methodology to ensure
daily, weekly, and monthly objectives are achieved---Lead
continuous improvement activities through employee suggestions and
lean processes---Prepare and present information relating to
program status for both internal and external reviewBasic
Qualifications: ---Bachelor's degree required, preferably in
science, technology, engineering or math (STEM), plus 5 years of
related experience in an operations or manufacturing
environment---Experience working with a manufacturing execution
system (MES, SAP, PRISM)---Strong interpersonal skills and ability
to work well with all levels in the organization---Previous
experience leading a multi discipline team---Previous experience
implementing lean projects---Strong verbal and written
communication skills---Very strong MS Project, Excel, Power Point
and Word skills---US citizenship---Ability to obtain a Secret US
security clearancePreferred Qualifications: ---Earned Value
Management certified---Experience managing a production
line---Active Secret US security clearanceSalary Range: $85,400 USD
- $128,000 USD Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus
in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward
individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in
company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions
may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop
