About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Strategy & Communication Pillar Lead for the Global Privacy Utility. The Global Privacy Utility (GPU) will establish a holistic approach to both privacy and compromised data through implementing a Target Operating Model using a utility framework. The GPU will provide advisory services and implementation capabilities to the businesses to address privacy risk.In this role, you will:

  • Manage and develop multiple business functional areas with focus on implementing and delivering long-term strategies, policies, and process advancements for cross-functional stakeholders, and internal and external partners associated with the area of Business Execution or who are affected or impacted by its outcomes
  • Identify Business Execution opportunities and strategies for process improvement and risk control development over the long-term to ensure operational excellence and process efficiency
  • Lead Business Execution team for assigned initiatives ensuring solutions are designed, integrated, and controlled to improve effectiveness, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate
  • Collaborate and influence functional management to obtain resources, influence outcomes, address conflict, and ensure alignment with Wells Fargo strategies or policies and business line objectives
  • Manage and execute strategies related to allocation of people and financial resources
  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
  • Determine appropriate strategies and actions of multiple business groups to meet moderate to high complex deliverables
  • Identify potential risks when implementing change along with developing mitigation strategies and plans
  • Engage functional leaders to obtain resources, influence outcomes, address conflict, and ensure alignment with Wells Fargo's policies and business line objectives
  • Manage and develop a team of senior level Business Execution Consultants while ensuring successful planning, integration, impasse resolution, and measurement of operations with moderate to high complexity and visibility
  • Recommend opportunities for Business Execution process improvement across various businesses
  • Interpret procedures and processes, and provide leadership to strategize and execute a variety of programs, services, and initiatives that are significant in scope, complexity, and riskSpecifically, this candidate will be responsible for business duties including:
    • Lead a team responsible for the strategic development and dissemination employee privacy and compromised data awareness and internal team communications. Support development of external communications, respond to consumer inquiries, and deliver consumer-facing employee guidance on handling consumer questions.
    • Facilitate the Front-Line Global Privacy Strategy Forum compromised of LOB and enterprise function representatives to prioritize initiatives
    • Responsible for Global Privacy Utility (GPU)) communication execution processes with internal business leaders and enterprise partners and stakeholders to ensure awareness of program impacts/changes and procedural changes resulting from initiatives.

    • Initiate program funding / finance activities, including gaining funding for program efforts on behalf of the front line, and managing budget / finance Activities
    • Maintain efficient staffing model and resource utilization for delivery of services to the business
    • Create and deliver periodic GPU branded communications to stakeholders with feedback loop
    • Develop GPU strategy and insights, assuring initiatives are aligned to enterprise strategies
    • Develop various business initiatives presentations (health care score card reporting/strategy planning) for Privacy Utility program leader to include a variety of strategic initiatives- upshot audience could be operational committee updates and/or executive leadership reporting.
    • Manage a team of internal project leads supporting delivery against objectives through holistic, aligned delivery plans and roadmaps. Includes development and management of key milestones and program delivery metrics. Support of enterprise change management program management and enterprise strategic initiatives. This includes playing a key role in leading activities for the development and strategical planning for the Target Operating Model for the Privacy Utility.
    • Coordination of staffing analysis for operating model/RASCI (incl. HR engagement).
    • Develop plan to implement and monitor organizational model.
    • Coordinate resource management (incl. capabilities, spans, and financial impacts).
    • Collect/create job profiles and submit and manage requests to leadership tracking approvals through position load into the respective HR tool. As needed, create/draft and build business cases to support resource management, efficiency efforts or organization design.
    • Responsible for project/program financials including planning and forecast of all business and project AU's a well as financial support for business cases and efficiency packages, etc.
    • Responsible for individual contributors supporting and maintaining horizontal activities across the various work efforts and teams. Examples include Enterprise Global Services Relationship Management, SharePoint Administration, Business unit metric reporting, Execution level bullets for overview of weekly accomplishments.
    • Lead your team with integrity and create an environment where your employees feel included, valued, and supported to do work that energizes them.
    • Accomplish management responsibilities which include sourcing and hiring talented employees, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, recognizing, and developing employees, identifying and managing risks, and completing daily management tasks.
    • Develop a leader and a team of individual contributors with a strong working knowledge of the Privacy Utility business processes and the key risk controls that apply. This also includes developing employees' knowledge of Enterprise Change Management office tools and artifacts.
    • Develop a team that serves as day-to-day subject matter experts with proven knowledge of the Privacy Utility, services, processes, systems, regulations, partners and customers it serves.
    • Supporting new project intake process and providing strategic consulting services and business initiative consultant support to senior leaders on key program initiatives.Work locations: New York, NY; Charlotte, NC; Minneapolis, MN; Des Moines, IA; Irving, TX and Chandler, AZRequired Qualifications, US:
      • 6+ years of Business Operations, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
      • 3+ years Management experienceDesired Qualifications:
        • Proven ability to proactively solve problems and develop strategic recommendations with objective rationale in a global financial institution
        • Experience leading global large-scale change efforts and/or large and complex initiatives
        • Ability to perform effectively in an ever-evolving environment and successfully address multiple, high-priority matters
        • Ability to create executive level presentations and deliver updates as needed.
        • Leadership and team management experience in a global financial institution
        • Proven success in assessing complex situations, identifying organizational and operational needs and developing/implementing strategies to address those needs
        • Strong organizational and facilitation skills
        • Exceptional communication and influencing skills
        • Exceptional writing skills
        • Extreme attention to detail and ability to understand risks and integration/interdependency of risks

        • Previous experience in the strategic planning and execution of operational risk & compliance or process improvement initiatives.
