Job Description:

The Director of Total Rewardsin partnership with the Chief Human Resources Officer, leads the development, innovation, and administration of comprehensive total rewards and HRIS solutions that are aligned with our outstanding culture and ongoing business priorities. This includes HRIS administration and the strategy & design of a total rewards philosophy that assists with building a sustainable competitive advantage through maximizing employee engagement, performance, and retention. This critically important leadership role will report directly to Chief Human Resources Officer and engage directly with the senior leadership team, the compensation committee, and the board of directors.You will:

  • Develop & execute the benefits strategy by closely partnering with Leadership, HR, and Finance
  • Understand external benchmarking & trends to evaluate and deliver a competitive benefits program
  • Lead the annual pay review process including reviewing merit increase trends, documenting annual assessment processes, and making recommendations to the Executive Team
  • Design, socialize and implement incentive and other variable pay programs aligned to the competitive market and business strategies. This includes strategic sales incentive and management incentive programs as well as executive compensation including long- and short-term incentives
  • Oversee the daily administration of the equity compensation program
  • Partner with compensation consultants, vendors, and benefits brokers to ensure current and competitive compensation and benefits processes and practices are in place
  • Responsible for employee mobility assessment and oversight through the organization
  • Prepare reports for Human Capital committee and Board of Directors as requested
  • Oversee interactions with legal team(s) regarding immigration matters and employment
  • This position is also responsible for an operational understanding and compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations, and tax laws
  • Conduct external market research as well as internal equity analysis. Make data-driven recommendations on changes to compensation at individual, departmental, and enterprise levels.
  • Provides continuous improvement expertise to HRIS programs, seeking out and implementing efficiencies
  • Must be both a strategic leader and hands-on contributor who is passionate about how compensation and benefits directly impact the employee experience. This person will also have deep experience in Executive Compensation programs, designing and owning them
  • Ensure all compensation and benefit programs are administered in compliance with each country's national regulations. This includes management of all compliance filings, reports, and audits related to the administration of employee compensation programs either directly or through vendor/partners
  • Utilize a broad knowledge of various laws and regulations that affect the administration of benefit plans
  • Ensure compliance with all business and legal plan requirements, directs preparation and filing of legally required reports and documents, responsible for quarterly certifications and internal audit reviews
  • Owns the HRIS function and its daily management, along with implementation and reporting

    Qualifications you MUST have:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
    • 7+ years Total Rewards experience including at least 3 years managing executive compensation at a public company
    • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
    • A team player that is a highly motivated self-starter
    • Prior experience designing executive compensation plans (incentive plans and equity strategy/equity plan design) managing executive compensation at a public company
    • Prior experience with global total rewards
    • Ability to maintain a cooperative and professional work relationship with internal and external partners
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
    • Ability to work effectively across multiple organizations
    • Ability to work in a fast paced, hyper-growth environment
