Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.Motors project manager will be part of the Launch Vehicles Business Unit (LVBU) Common Hardware/Motors Organization, specifically within the Motors Team. Motors project manager will lead the Integrated Product Team (IPT) in support of various programs (GMD, IRBM, T4 Targets, OSP, Sentinel, NGI, etc.)The Project Manager would work closely with NG affiliate Propulsion Systems and responsibilities would include, but not be limited to the following:Managing the Launch Vehicles IPT which consists of Engineering, Subcontracts, Supplier Quality, Mission Assurance, PMP, Finance, etc.Working closely with various program offices to ensure delivery and financial performance, oversight of the NC's and MRB activity, quality issues, and coordination with the various integration sites for delivery.Oversight of program deliverables (Motors and various hardware, contract deliverables, data (SDRL) deliverables, submittal of MRBs, metrics, financial forecast, etc.)Managing engineering deliverables and ensuring CN's are processed thru the various program CCB's by the IPT.Working with Subcontracts and ensure contract actions meet the needs of each programResponsibility for establishing and/or maintaining Statements of WorkBasic Qualifications:Education or Experience15+ Years with Bachelors; 13+ Years with MastersSalary Range: $111,400 USD - $167,000 USDEmployees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
