About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Product Manager in the Central Control Product Management team as part of Chief Control Management Executive Organization. This role will help lead the improvement and sustainability in Front Line Control and implement leading practices to create a strong control environment. The individual will possess strong relationship management and influencing skills, product vision, operational and execution skills. This individual will possess the business acumen to understand and operate successfully in a complex, heavily regulated and matrixed corporate environment. Will operate with a sense of urgency, passion for results, human-centered, and personal accountability for driving results. The Product Manager will be responsible for defining product vision and collaborate with technology teams on every phase of the Software Development Life Cycle, (SDLC) to satisfy evolving business needs in an extremely aggressive deadline driven environment. RMP - Risk Measurement Platform Risk Measurement Platform (RMP) is an in-house developed tool used by the Enterprise Risk Measurement Program (ERMP) and the Operational Risk Key Risk Indicator (ORKRI) Program as their system of records for measures and metrics. The ERMP program governs Risk Appetite Measures, Qualitative Assessment Criteria, and Enterprise KRIs that are aligned to ERIA material risk titles; and the ORKRI program governs granular KRIs that are aligned to RCSA high inherent risks. In this role, you will:

  • Understanding the underlying business process, creating, grooming user stories with clear acceptance criteria, assist in user acceptance testing and be able to create user guides
  • Understanding best practices followed in agile, facilitating and participating in scrum meetings, scrum retrospective & backlog refinement
  • Contributing towards strategic long-term product vision whilst achieving small and medium-term goals to meet business needs
  • Manages communication across horizontal and vertical teams and business partners; and lead interrelated work
  • Possess sufficient knowledge in technology to be able to challenge technology counterparts to produce a product which is user friendly, modern, resilient, and scalable
  • Serves as the primary liaison between the business units and various technology partners in achieving business deliverables, including planning and implementation of strategies and process advancements
  • Establish priorities and drive accountability for assigned initiatives, ensuring leadership that solutions are designed, integrated, and controlled to optimize effectiveness and create efficiencies as appropriate
  • Develop and implement reporting/information delivery/presentations with key stakeholders and senior management within responsible area, including root cause, cost/benefit, and risk analyses
  • Facilitate the front to back solution design value chain for the accountable Risk Executive. This includes Ideation, design, requirements gathering, documentation, implementation planning and execution
  • Advise experienced leadership to develop or influence business plans, business requirements, direct product design and implementation for complex business and technical needs
  • Oversee overall product management and strategic focus for the most technical, complex and diverse products and services
  • Lead the strategy and resolution of complex and unique challenges requiring in-depth understanding of potential synergies, opportunities companywide
  • Deliver solutions that are long-term, large scale, and require consideration of global market dynamics, trends, regulatory impact, and risk management
  • Provide vision, direction and expertise to leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions that are strategically focused for diverse product lines
  • Articulate product vision, define scope, prioritize backlog, establish goals, and provide direction for teams to design, develop, and deliver technology and processes for updating, upgrading technologies and vendor relationships
  • Engage with leaders, stakeholders, subject matter experts, scrum masters, project managers and delivery team companywide
  • Serve as an adept advisor to leadership Required Qualifications, US:
    • 7+ years of Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery, or agile product owner experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Desired Qualifications:
      • Experience in product management, business analysis, operations and/or strategic/consulting in a consumer oriented, technology dependent environment, in financial services or related industries.
      • Experience working with technology teams to develop platforms/systems.
      • Experience in control and operational risk management is strongly desired.
      • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
      • User Acceptance Testing (UAT) experience.
      • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
      • Experience communicating in both written and verbal formats with senior executive-level leaders.
      • Demonstrate ability to work in a dynamic environment with challenging deadlines and fast changing priorities is necessary.
      • Ability to independently be able to make decisions for the product and able to manage conflicting priorities is necessary. Job Expectations:
        • Ability to work a hybrid work schedule - 3 days a week on-site/in office and 2 days a week remote.
