About this role: Wells Fargo Auto is seeking a Product
Management Senior Manager in our Originations Product team. This
position is for the Finance My Car customer journey area for Wells
Fargo Auto and is focused on using a Product approach to identify
problems and develop solutions to meet Wells Fargo Auto customer
needs with new or used auto financing, including subprime lending

divisions at . In this role you will:
- Articulate product vision, define scope, design and prioritize
backlog, establish goals, and provide direction for
cross-functional teams to design/ develop/ deliver undeveloped,
significantly changed, innovative, highly complex, and/or strategic
technology and processes or to act as a team-of-teams product
owner.
- Work with steering committees, senior leaders, stakeholders,
SME, scrum masters, project managers, vendors, and the delivery
team to ensure success against stated and not yet stated customer
business value.
- Drive requirements, incorporating product expertise and
industry/competitor opportunities. Each release, leads backlog
prioritization ensuring effective process discovery to create,
refine, and prioritize the backlog which typically impacts multiple
platforms/ vendors and requires significant outreach, coordination,
presentation preparation, and communication to steering committee/
senior executives.
- Establish/optimize relationships with key stakeholders to
ensure the business and product strategies are aligned, understood,
and communicated. React to and adjust planning/execution in
situations with significant risk/ undefined conditions.
- Inspect pre-release progress with complete authority to change/
accept/ reject work, artifacts, and timelines including holistic
directional change and termination of work as necessary.
- Ensure cross-functional dependencies are articulated, managed,
and addressed by all constituents.
- Develop/monitor key performance indicators requiring
significant thought leadership to ensure reporting and analysis
that measures value and identifies improvement opportunities while
ensuring all regulatory and compliance needs are met. Key
indicators may be related to new data and require a new vision of
how work should be measured.
- Oversee implementation and post-implementation activities and
ensures product/system issues are resolved Required Qualifications:
- 6+ years of Product Management, product development, strategic
planning, process management, change delivery, or equivalent
demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work
experience, training, military experience, education
- 3+ years of Management experience Desired Qualifications:
- Indirect auto lending experience, with a large financial
institution
- Experience across the credit spectrum (including subprime
lending), with specific knowledge of how to manage risk appetite
and returns.
- Knowledge and understanding of indirect auto finance policies,
procedures, best practices, and regulatory requirements
- Experience working in an agile methodology
- Knowledge and understanding of product management
- Experience defining key performance metrics
- Experience in defining key performance metrics
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication
skills
- Ability to influence, partner, and negotiate with senior
business leaders to gain commitment to accomplish business
goals
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across
all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and
adaptability are important
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
