Summary of Position:
Capital Pump & Equipment ("CPE") is a dynamic and fast-growing specialty pump rental and services business based in the Southwestern and Western U.S. seeking a Chief Financial Officer to join our team. The CFO reports to the Chief Executive Officer and as a member of the senior management team, plays a critical role in developing and implementing the multi-year financial strategy for CPE. The CFO oversees accounting and financial responsibilities for the organization, including financial planning, tracking, evaluating, and reporting. The CFO oversees audit, banking and financing relationships, fleet acquisitions and related capital expenditures.

Key Responsibilities and Duties: Senior financial manager

• Senior financial officer and strategic partner to CEO, driving key financial, operational, and strategic objectives.
  
• Oversight of finance and accounting functions including accounting, billing, cash management, payroll, preparation of financial statements, treasury, finance, audit and related reporting, fleet ordering, and performance.
  
• Leadership of FP&A, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking for the branches and companywide.
  
• Oversees IT systems including company ERP, related payroll and HR systems, and the introduction of fleet management and pump telematics systems.
  
• Supervising annual financial audits, including working with Company auditors and Audit Committee.
  
• Lead lender and financing relationship and reporting.
  
• Lead analysis on Company acquisitions (M&A).
  
• Work with and support CEO and other senior managers to prepare and participate in reports to the Board of Directors.

  • Base salary plus annual performance bonus (20-35% of base compensation).

    • Strong background in finance, accounting, or business analytics essential.
      
    • Seven (7) to ten (10) years of financial experience; 3-5 years of leadership experience.
      
    • Rental services, industrial services, or construction experience strongly preferred.
      
    • Private equity backed company experience is advantageous.
      
    • Track record of leading finance organization and achieving critical performance metrics.
      
    • Energetic, team-player that functions well in entrepreneurial and growth environment.
      
    • Effective communicator across all levels of the organization; strong oral and written skills; willingness to share information.
      
    • Integrity, credibility, and character, along with demonstrated moral and ethical behavior.
      
    • Executive presence combined with a degree of maturity and solid business judgement.

Operates five branches in the Southwest and West with aggressive expansion plans. CPE is approaching $50M in revenue, growing +20% per year, and highly profitable.
