Job Description:Position SummaryThe FP&A Manager will be responsible for managing the headcount and operating expense planning process, conducting budget vs actuals reconciliation for operating expenses, and establishing strong business partnerships with budget owners and market general managers. The role will have a proven track record of budget ownership and have the ability to provide financial support and analysis to key leaders. This role will also be responsible for coaching and a financial analyst in support of the above objectives.Essential FunctionsManage the headcount and operating expense planning process, including the development of annual operating expense budgets, quarterly forecasts, and monthly updates.Conduct budget vs actuals reconciliation for operating expenses, and provide meaningful variance analysis to senior management.Establish strong business partnerships with budget owners, and serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders in driving financial performance.Work closely with market general managers to understand the financial performance of their business, and provide financial analysis and insights to drive profitable growth.Manage a financial analyst, and provide coaching and mentoring to develop their skills and capabilities.Collaborate with other departments, including Accounting, BI, and Operations, to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.Directly support financial close processes, KPI reporting, and ad hoc analysis for the Express and Direct+ business unitsExperience and Skills:Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.4+ years of experience in corporate finance, with a focus on financial planning and analysis.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools.Skills & AbilitiesTeam management experience, with a proven ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide actionable insights to drive business performance.Experience in owning operating expenses, with a demonstrated ability to drive cost savings and efficiencies.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.Preferred QualificationsExperience with Adaptive InsightsCPA, CFA, or MBA is a plus.Why Work with Offerpad?It's simple: We're here to help.
