WHAT THE POSITION DOES:After a Residential Solar PV system is installed and turned on, any subsequent work needed during the 20-30 year solar life cycle is handled through our amazing Solar Service Department. This could be any mix of items, from warranty work, to electric car charger installs, to customers needing their solar removed/reinstalled for a new roof. Each service request becomes a "case" and it's the Case Manager's role to follow the various cases through from start-to-finish from an operational stand-point. This could be scheduling our Field Service Technicians, working with vendors on warranty claims, troubleshooting with the customer over the phone, ordering and returning product and problem solving, to name a few. Of course the biggest responsibility of the Case Manager is ensuring a thrilled customer in the end.The Case Manager must know (or learn) the various RMA processes for solar manufacturers along with understanding their processes for warranty work. Developing strong relationships with these vendor contacts is also key to achieving win/win results all around. Our Residential Case Managers are based in the office, but may visit larger or more complex customer job sites on occasion to ensure project success.WHO WOULD NOT ENJOY THIS ROLE:If you prefer that systems and processes remain the same then please do not apply. The Service department does it's best to be as proactive as possible, however, the nature of the department as a whole is being responsive, empathetic problem solvers. This requires that our team be creative, flexible and positive overall. Drug, MVD and background checks plus skills tests will be performed on all final candidates. Employment eligibility verified through E-Verify. Competitive compensation based on experience. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Candidate must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time while working on a computer or talking on the phone.
