Job Description:
The OR RN is responsible for working with surgeons in the
operating room. OR Registered Nurses will prepare the room and the
patient for surgery and make sure that all equipment is safe and
operating correctly.ResponsibilitiesOR RN duties consist of:
Assessing the well being of the patient before, during and after
the procedure.
Anticipate what the surgeons need and provide instruments and
supplies to them during procedures.
Collecting and tracking the items needed for lab examinations.
RequirementsOne year of experience as an OR Registered Nurse within
the past two years.
Current RN License in good standing.
Up to date Basic Life Support through American Heart
Association.
Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
