OPEN POSITION:
Physician - Primary Care


SCHEDULE:
- Full-Time
- 4 Days per Week (can choose day off)
- 8:00am to 5:00pm
- No Nights / Weekends / On-Call

COMPANY PROFILE:
This physician-led private practice has been serving patients in the greater Chandler area for more than 20 years and is currently hiring due to growth. They boast a provider staff of 4 nurse practitioners, 4 physician assistants, and 3 physicians. They are an all-ages family practice with a focus on adult and geriatric primary care, and offer in-house services such as laboratory, ultrasounds, heart attack/stroke prevention, and telehealth capabilities.


POSITION DESCRIPTION:
This is a standard outpatient primary care position in a private practice. The duties of the provider role include, but are not limited to:

- evaluation and management of patients
- chronic disease management
- minor illness and injury treatment
- specialist referrals
- ordering labs and diagnostic tests
- reviewing diagnostic reports
- conducting telehealth visits (from the office)

This is an all-ages position, but the majority of patients are adults, with an emphasis on geriatric care as a specialization for the practice.

The new provider will be supported by a dedicated medical assistant and will ideally see between 20 and 25 patients per day, but that number is negotiable based upon provider preference and patient needs.

The practice uses a customized version of the eClinicalWorks EHR.

There are no on-call, evening, or weekend responsibilities. Physicians work 36 hours per week, scheduled in four 9-hour shifts.


REQUIREMENTS:
- Arizona medical license
- DEA
- Board Certification or Eligibility, Family or Internal Medicine
- Spanish language skills a plus, not required
