NORTH CHANDLER PLACE IS SEEKING PT/PRN CAREGIVERS TO JOIN OUR TEAM! Do you have a gift for caring for Seniors, and are you looking to join a team that creates communities that feel like home? In your caregiver role, you will assist residents with ADL's, respond call lights in a timely manner, assist residents to the dinning room, document care provided, communicate resident changes to the direct supervisor. 401K Plan Responsibilities: Provides residents with quality personal hygiene by giving bedpans, urinals, baths, backrubs, shampoos, and shaves; assisting with travel to the bathroom; helping with showers and baths.
Provides activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding patients as necessary; ambulating, turning, and positioning patients; provides fresh water and serves between meal and bedtime snacks.
Maintains patient stability by checking vital signs and weight; testing urine; recording intake and output information.
Observes any changes in resident physical or mental status and communicates to the Administrator or Resident Assistant Supervisor.
Provides laundry and housekeeping services to residents, as assigned.
Provides patient comfort by utilizing resources and materials; transporting patients; answering patients' call lights and requests; reporting observations of the patient to nursing supervisor.
Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
Assists with resident activity programs as assigned.
Complies with HIPAA Privacy Act by protecting confidential patient information.
Relieves at front desk, providing constant coverage for call and alarm system, as well as clerical and secretarial support as requested.
Follows all policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment. Looks for ways to improve facility functioning.
Performs other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent
AZ Caregiver Certification Required
AZ Fingerprint Card Required
