Responsibilities At Dignity Health Chandler Regional Medical Center, we deliver humankindness through a wide range of health, social and support services in the heart of Chandler, Arizona. The REHABILITATION DEPARTMENT at Dignity Health Chandler Regional Medical Center is a dynamic environment where you can pursue a highly challenging and rewarding career.

• We are looking for an additional therapist(s) who are interested in joining our team in a more unique shift schedule to further expand our services outside of the traditional PT work schedules. The shifts being requested are Monday-Friday from , and Sunday/Saturdays from . Qualifications Minimum:
  • Internship or rotation in appropriate clinical setting required.
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program required.
  • Computer skills required.
  • Arizona License in professional area.
  • Current American Association BLS card. Preferred:
    • Two years progressive experience in clinical area, performing patient clinical care preferred.
    • Masters or Doctorate degree in appropriate clinical area preferred.
    • Prior use of electronic health record preferred.
    • Have a current PT credential
    • Have at least 2 year clinical experience in relation to inpatient or outpatient physical therapy
    • Have good outpatient PT evaluative, differential diagnoses, and treatment skills, including vestibular evaluations and treatments
    • Demonstrate knowledge of prescribing and teaching outpatient exercises and education for patients that will not be seen in the emergency room for follow-up visits
    • Develop/maintain relationships and demonstrate flexibility when communicating with the ED interdisciplinary team
    • Demonstrate knowledge in the management of pain, balance, vestibular, gait, and instability issues conditions
    • Be comfortable in making quick decisions or dealing with acute illness/sickness/constant codes in a chaotic emergency room environment
    • Have an understanding in making post-acute recommendation for patient placements
    • Demonstrate willingness to seek assistance/advice/support from the ED interdisciplinary team when needed
    • Be knowledgeable of current evidence based practices/research/protocols, including all Dignity Health - East Valley required ED competencies Pay Range$36.96 - $53.60 /hour
