Job Description:
TravelNurseSource is working with Greenstaff Medical to find a
qualified Telemetry RN in Chandler, Arizona, 85224! Pay Information
$2,262 to $2,406 per week About The Position General Requirements
Auto Offer: Based on prescreen results. Critical Skill: Must be
able to titrate cardiac drips . Dysrhythmia Exam: Must be passed
prior to signing contract (maximum 2 attempts). Must be completed
within 48 hours of offer . Failure results in termination and
6-month DNU (CSH AZ & CSH Sac regions). Sim Lab: Conducted on day
one of orientation (pass/fail). Failure results in termination and
6-month DNU . Floating Details Floating is required between all
Telemetry and MedSurg units . Depending on skill level, nurses may
float to ICU, Cardiac Tele, all Tele units, MedSurg, and holding
areas (Cath Lab, ER, Observation, even hallway assignments).
Primary floating priority: Observation floor first, then other
units. May float between Chandler & Mercy Gilbert campuses (9 miles
apart, ~15 minutes drive). Must clock out when leaving one campus
and clock in upon arrival at the other. Floating to another campus
mid-shift is rare but possible . Notification of float campus/unit
provided 1.5 hours before shift . Mid-shift floating between units
can occur. Unit Details Tele B3A – Cardiovascular Telemetry Beds:
32 Certifications: BLS, ACLS Ratios: 1:3–4 Charge Nurse: Yes (no
patient load); Clinical Supervisor present. Techs: 1 PCT per 16
patients. Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend. Scrub Color:
Navy Telemetry: Centralized; RNs must interpret EKGs. Vents: None
Hospitalist Coverage: Daytime rounds, on-call at night. IV Team: No
RT & Pharmacy: 24/7 coverage Shift: 12 hrs (7–7) Floating: To
similar or lower acuity units. Orientation: 2 days on unit. Common
Diagnoses: Post Cath Lab & vascular procedures Post-op Day 2 CABG
patients General Telemetry cases Drips: Amio, Cardene, Nitro,
Heparin, Dobutamine (titrate down only) Age Range: 15 years and
older Tele A3 – Neuro Telemetry Beds: 28 Certifications: BLS, ACLS,
NIHSS Ratios: 1:3–4 Charge Nurse: Yes (no patient load); Clinical
Supervisor present. Techs: 1 PCT per 16 patients. Weekend
Requirement: Every other weekend. Scrub Color: Navy Telemetry:

(nights). Weekend Requirement: 4 shifts per 4-week schedule.
Holidays: One major and one minor required. Scrub Color: Navy
Telemetry: GE Monitors; Central Monitoring Tech. Vents: None
Hospitalist Coverage: Call Physician directly. IV Team: No (SWAT
Nurse available for difficult sticks). RT & Pharmacy: 24/7 coverage
(ICU pharmacist on days). Shift: 12 hrs (7–7) Floating: To MedSurg
Tele B2C and B2D. Orientation: 2 shifts on unit. Common Diagnoses:
80% Surgical, 20% Oncology Ortho (knee & hip replacements),
Urological, Abdominal, Whipple, Women’s surgeries (no OB/GYN).
Notes: Spectralink phones (call light integrated). MedSurg B2C
Beds: 29 Certifications: BLS, ACLS Ratios: 1:4 (days & nights)
Charge Nurse: Yes (no patient load); Unit Supervisor on duty.
Techs: 1 PCT (days) / 1 PCT or SWAT RN (nights). Weekend
Requirement: 4 shifts per 4-week schedule. Holidays: One major and
