Job Description:

qualified Telemetry RN in Chandler, Arizona, 85224! Pay Information
$2,189 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse

Weeks Shift: 12-Hour Days Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week
Experience: 2 years License: Yes Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
Must-Have: - Must be able to titrate cardiac drips. - Travelers
must pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to signing contract (2 attempts
max), within 48 hours of offer. - A pass/fail simulation lab on the
first day of orientation is required. - Floating between all Tele
and MedSurg units is required. Description: Must float to different
units as needed. Nurses may float to ICU, Cardiac Tele, MedSurg,
and various holding areas. Notification of unit and campus will
occur 1.5 hours prior to shift start. Mid-shift floating to
different units can happen. RNs must clock out when leaving one
campus and clock in at the other campus. The distance between the
campuses is approximately 9 miles and typically takes around 15
minutes to travel. Telemetry units involve the following: -
Centralized telemetry monitoring. - Nurses must interpret EKGs. -
Post-cath lab and post-vascular surgery patients are common. -
Additional patients include those recovering from CABG and those on
specific cardiac medications. Medsurg units include various patient
types such as: - Surgical and oncology patients. - Common surgeries
include orthopedic procedures. - Nurses will float as necessary
between MedSurg units. There is a weekend requirement of four
shifts every four weeks. Travelers will work two of three major
holidays. A scrub color of navy is designated for the nursing
staff. Nursing ratios are maintained for optimal patient care.
Charge nurses have no patient assignments and are supported by
clinical supervisors. Patient care technicians assist on the units
based on patient-to-staff ratios. There are 24/7 respiratory
