Job Description:

qualified Telemetry RN in Chandler, Arizona, 85224! Pay Information
$2,060 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse –
Telemetry Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Telemetry
Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 12-Hour Nights Hours per Shift: 36 hours
per week Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience, within the last
6 months License: Current RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS,
NIHSS - AHA or APEX Must-Have: Strong cardiac telemetry background,
preferably 2 years. Experience in decreasing cardiac drips per
physician's orders and parameters. Ability to read and interpret
cardiac strips. Willingness to care for patients in a telemetry
setting. Description: This is a telemetry position requiring
telemetry skills. Travelers will need to pass a dysrhythmia exam
within 48 hours after receiving an offer, with a maximum of 2
attempts. There is a PASS/FAIL simulation lab on the first day.
Nurses will care for patients waiting for placement on a
medical-surgical/telemetry unit. Patients will primarily be
telemetry patients. Candidates must be able to titrate drips as
designated, including Cardizem, Heparin, and Amiodarone. Nurses
will assist with patients from the emergency department, but will
not be the primary RN for emergency department assignments. Nurses
are expected to work 4 weekend shifts every 4-week schedule and
must work 2 of 4 major holidays. This role involves floating to
medical-surgical, telemetry, and overflow units as needed. No call
or standby requirement is attached to this position. The charting
system used is Cerner. Nurse aides will be available in the unit.
The position does not require previous travel experience, but a
strong background in cardiac telemetry is essential.
