Job Description:

qualified Telemetry RN in Chandler, Arizona, 85224! Pay Information
$2,189 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse

Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Must be able
to titrate cardiac drips. Description: Travelers will need to pass
a dysrhythmia exam prior to signing the contract. There are a
maximum of two attempts allowed within 48 hours of the offer. If
the traveler fails, they will be sent home and made a Do Not Use
for six months. There is also a pass/fail simulation lab on the
first day of orientation. If the traveler fails the simulation,
they will be sent home and made a Do Not Use for six months.
Floating between all telemetry and medical-surgical units is
required. Depending on skill level, nurses will float to ICU,
cardiac telemetry, and all telemetry and medical-surgical units.
Travelers may also float to any holding area, including the cath
lab, ER, observation floor, or even a hallway. Days and times will
be assigned with 1.5 hours’ notice prior to shift start. Floating
to different units mid-shift may occur. Rarely will there be a need
to float to another location within a single shift. The distance
between campuses is approximately 9 miles, which may take about 15
minutes to travel. Travelers must clock out when leaving one campus
and clock in upon arrival at the other campus. Common diagnoses
include post-catheters, post-vascular procedures, and CABG
patients. This role involves working with medications such as
Amiodarone, Cardene, Nitro, Heparin, and Dobutamine. The position
is open to nurses who can interpret EKGs and work effectively in a
fast-paced environment. Shifts are scheduled for 12 hours,
typically from 7 AM to 7 PM. Every effort will be made to ensure
appropriate staffing levels and support is provided. BLS and ACLS
certifications are required for all candidates. All candidates must
