Job Description:

qualified Neuro RN in Chandler, Arizona, 85224! Pay Information
$2,177 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse
Profession: Nursing Specialty: Neuro Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 12-Hour Nights Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required, must be recent
within the past 6 months License: Active nursing license required
for submission Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Ability
to interpret EKGs, pass a dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of
receiving an offer Description: The ideal candidate will work in a
telemetry unit with a patient ratio of 1:3-4. This unit
accommodates 28 beds and focuses on neuro post-surgical care, CVA
patients post-TPA, and similar diagnoses. Charge nurses will not
have patient assignments and there will be a clinical supervisor in
a management role. Patient care technicians will be available at a
ratio of 1 per every 16 patients. The facility operates a
centralized telemetry and has respiratory therapy and pharmacy
services available 24/7. Weekend shifts will be required every
other weekend. Candidates should be knowledgeable in proper sterile
techniques, as training materials will be provided. No ICP
monitoring will be conducted in this unit. There will be a
pass/fail exam on the first day of orientation focusing on sterile
field practices. No ventilation management is expected in this
role. The clinical environment fosters collaboration between
hospitalists, who are present during the day and on call at night.
