qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Chandler, Arizona, 85224! Pay
Information $2,335 per week About The Position Job Title: Labor and
Delivery Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty:
Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 12-Hour Nights Hours
per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 4 years License:
Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP Must-Have: Experience with
C-sections Computer charting experience, preferably with Cerner
Description: Travelers are required to pass a dysrhythmia exam
prior to accepting an offer. They must pass with a score of 80%,
and if they fail, they will be ineligible for 6 months. Travelers
will take a pass/fail simulation lab on the first day. Study guides
will be provided. Nurse-to-patient ratios are designed to follow
established guidelines. The unit attempts to ensure safe
assignments. Travelers must confidently circulate and recover from
C-sections. Patients are typically transferred to the postpartum
unit after delivery. Common diagnoses include laboring or preterm
pregnant patients. The unit is a level II equipped facility, caring
for gestations from 28 weeks and greater. It also functions as a
level 1 trauma center. Cancellation policy includes the ability to
cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment. Charting is performed
using an electronic medical record system. Nurses will titrate
medications as per protocols when required. Weekend shifts are
mandatory as part of the schedule. Floating to other units may
occur when necessary. Two of the three major holidays must be
