Job Summary and Responsibilities 100% outpatient 40% Private Practice, 40% Clinical Precepting, 20% Teaching Geriatrician is preferred, however not required Opportunity for academic appointment through Creighton University Chance to help build a state-of-the-art outpatient center and Residency Program from the ground up Job Requirements MD or DO Degree and Active Board Certification Must have or be eligible for Arizona State medical licensure Completed ACGME Residency training with current ABMS Board Certification Must have previous Academic Medicine/GME experience working with medical students and/or resident physicians Is a team-oriented provider that is passionate about making the healing presence of God known in our world by improving the health of the people we serve, especially those who are vulnerable, while we advance social justice for all HEC Where You'll Work Internal Medicine Clinical Faculty Physician Dignity Health Medical Group - Arizona is actively seeking a highly patient-centric Academic, Ambulatory Internal Medicine Physician to support our Internal Medicine Residency Program in the East Valley. Our Internal Medicine Residency Program is led by a highly-experienced Program Director who has successfully established other residency programs and is the ACP-Arizona Governor. 100% outpatient 80-90% Clinical Practice and Resident/Student Precepting, 10-20% Teaching Geriatrician (IM or FM) or Osteopathic Physician with OMT skills are preferred, however not required Opportunity for academic appointment through Creighton University Chance to practice in a state-of-the-art outpatient center The position consists of outpatient responsibilities within a single clinic location close to the hospital campus. You will have access to full support staff. The medical group is a multi-specialty group that includes specialists in primary care, pulmonary medicine, endocrinology, palliative care, cardiology, infectious disease, gastroenterology, and other surgical specialties.
