Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Phoenix, AZ Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,070 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: RN License Certifications: BLS Certification Must-Have: Recent medical-surgical experience Level 1 trauma experience Description: This position requires a registered nurse specializing in medical-surgical care. The nurse will provide care to a variety of patients including those with post-operative needs, sepsis, pneumonia, COPD, diabetes, and infections. The nurse to patient ratio is 1:4-5. Nurses will be expected to participate in skills labs for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes. Maintaining a sterile field during procedures is essential. Candidates must be able to titrate Heparin drips. There is no telemetry in this unit, but familiarity with telemetry may be beneficial as floating to other units may be required. Respiratory therapy will be assigned to the unit. Nurses may be required to float to other medical-surgical and telemetry areas. Self-scheduling is available, with shifts planned four weeks in advance. Weekend requirements include three weekend shifts per pay period. Holidays will be rotated among staff. The unit utilizes a resource RN in addition to a charge RN. The charge RN is present continuously, and a House Supervisor is available 24/7. Candidates must be prepared to work in a developing environment as the unit continues to build its team. The hospital has a policy allowing cancellation of up to four shifts during the 13-week assignment. Charting is completed using a designated electronic system.
