ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Chandler, Arizona. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/02/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - ICU Job Details: • Night shift with minimum every other weekend or up to 3 weekends per month if unit is busy • 3 weekend shifts required in a 4-week schedule (night shift weekends are Friday-Saturday) • May have 1 holiday off in an assignment • Minimum 3 years of recent ICU experience required with either neuro or cardiovascular experience • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS • UNA Dysrhythmia Exam required 24-48 hours prior to acceptance with maximum 2 attempts • Pass/fail simulation lab on Day 1 of orientation • 1-2 days unit-specific orientation • Self-scheduling available with manager balancing for unit needs • Nurse to patient ratios of 1:2 or 1:1 • Required to titrate drips including propofol, fentanyl, versed, precedex, levophed, vasopressin, and others • Must interpret own telemetry strips using GE monitors • Float to telemetry unit with 1:3 or 1:4 ratios as needed • May float between 3 ICUs including surgical ICU (32 beds) and medical/cardiac ICU (36 beds plus 12 bed overflow) • Work with Level 1 trauma center patients including falls, GSW, blunt trauma, MVAs • Care for medical patients with sepsis, DKA, ARDS, and cardiovascular surgery patients • Navy scrub color required • Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment • Cerner charting system • May be low censused up to 3 times per contract depending on unit needs Facility: This healthcare facility operates as a Level 1 trauma center featuring multiple intensive care units including surgical ICU, medical/cardiac ICU, and overflow units.
