travel nurse RN LDRP - Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum for a
travel nursing job in Phoenix, Arizona. Job Description &
Requirements - Specialty: LDRP - Labor Delivery Recovery &
Postpartum - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/09/2026 - Duration: 13
weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment
Type: Travel Overall Unit Feel - Busy community L&D serving
West Phoenix - High delivery volume due to a large, diverse
population - Fast-paced but not an academic/tertiary OB center
Level of Care - Handles: - Routine and moderate-risk OB -
Gestational diabetes, preeclampsia, VBACs - Very high-risk OB
(extreme prematurity, complex MFM cases) are often transferred to
Banner’s higher-level facilities (e.g., Banner University Medical
Center) ??? Staffing & Ratios (typical) - Laboring patients: 1:1 -
Active labor / pushing: 1:1 - Postpartum couplets: usually 1:3–4 -
Ratios may stretch briefly during surges (common in Phoenix metro)
Culture & Expectations - Traveler-friendly overall - Expect to be
independent fairly quickly - Strong teamwork, but you need solid
L&D fundamentals - Floating usually limited to Postpartum if
competent - Epic Charting ? Best Fit For ? Experienced L&D
nurses ? Travelers comfortable with volume ? Nurses who like
