Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. A school-based
Occupational Therapist opportunity is available in Glendale, AZ,
serving an elementary school environment. This full-time contract
position spans the current school year, beginning ASAP and
concluding on June 5th, 2026. The role focuses on providing OT
services to students from kindergarten through 8th grade,
supporting both direct and indirect therapy needs. Key
Responsibilities: Deliver occupational therapy evaluations,
interventions, and progress monitoring for approximately 80
students on the caseload. Collaborate with educators, parents, and
multidisciplinary teams to develop Individualized Education
Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs. Utilize evidence-based
practices to enhance students' functional abilities and support
academic success. Maintain accurate documentation and comply with
state and federal regulations. Participate in team meetings and
professional development opportunities. Qualifications: Valid
Occupational Therapy licensure in Arizona or eligibility for
licensure. Experience in school-based occupational therapy,
preferably in an elementary school setting. Strong skills in
pediatric therapy, focusing on children in K-8th grades. Ability to
manage a diverse caseload effectively. Excellent communication and
collaboration skills. Position Details: Location: Glendale, AZ
Schedule: 40 hours per week, 5 days per week Contract Duration:
Through June 5th, 2026 Compensation: Starting at $45 per hour, paid
