Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Up to $15,000 sign-on bonus for
full-time positions. Position Overview The Physical Therapist (PT)
is responsible for delivering direct rehabilitation services in
physical therapy to patients referred by physicians, adhering to
all relevant laws, regulations, and organizational standards.
Qualifications and Experience Must be a graduate from an accredited
physical therapy program, holding a BSPT, MSPT, or DPT (those
graduating in 2003 or later must possess either an MSPT or DPT).
Must hold a current registration/license in the relevant state and
maintain an active license in good standing throughout the duration
of employment. Preferred: At least one year of experience in a
post-acute care or similar environment. CPR certification is
required upon hire or must be obtained during orientation;
certification must remain valid throughout employment. Job
Responsibilities Engage in community health initiatives and
projects as appropriate. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and
email communication. Collaborate with patients, families, and
support departments to effectively address patient needs. Exhibit
proper body mechanics consistently. Make independent decisions when
necessary. Possess knowledge of relevant practices, procedures, and
regulations governing operations in a post-acute care facility.
Implement and interpret departmental programs, goals, objectives,
policies, and procedures. Demonstrate proficiency in all competency
areas, including patient rights, safety, and sanitation. Maintain
professional relationships with colleagues, vendors, and others.
Ensure confidentiality of all proprietary and sensitive
information. Adhere to organizational policies, including those
related to harassment and compliance. Exhibit integrity and
professionalism by following the organization’s Code of Conduct and
completing required compliance training. Core Duties Implement
physical therapy treatment plans for patients. Set, evaluate, and
adjust realistic, measurable, and functional goals. Supervise and
assess the care provided by PTAs, Rehab Aides, and PT and PTA
students. Document care accurately and in a timely manner. Utilize
therapy software effectively and accurately. Provide excellent
customer service and maintain a positive attitude towards patients.
Assist in the safe evacuation of patients when necessary.
Demonstrate reliable and consistent attendance. Employ reasoning
skills and sound judgment in all situations. Communicate
effectively and work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary
team. Engage in various physical activities such as sitting,
standing, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, stooping, walking,
reaching, and moving throughout working hours. Read, write, speak,
and comprehend the English language proficiently. We are an Equal
