Registered Nurse (RN) | Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma Location: Tucson, AZ Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,015 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/2/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Tucson, Arizona, 85740! Job Title: ER Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum 1.5 years required License: Compact RN license Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS Must-Have: - Previous charge experience preferred - Travel experience required - Experience with EPIC charting system required - Patient ratio experience of 1:4 Description: The position involves working in a high-stress environment with patients of all ages and diagnoses. The nurse will be responsible for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. The nurse will manage patients with various medical conditions and support interdisciplinary teams. Every other weekend work is required. The facility is equipped to handle general emergencies but does not manage stroke or STEMI cases. The nurse must be adept at making transfer decisions based on patient needs. The unit consists of 20 beds and handles a daily census of approximately 48 patients. There are additional support services available, including IV teams and respiratory services. The nurse will also participate in conscious sedation procedures following safety protocols. Strong skills in interpreting dysrhythmias and managing patients with multisystem organ dysfunction are necessary.
