Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Experience: • 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • Must have at least 24 months of Telemetry Unit experience with 6 months within the past 3 years. Requirements: • Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license (required for submission). • This role may require floating to additional units and locations • Travel only, local not allowed. References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to. Required skills and experience: This is a tele position, requiring tele skills. MUST HAVE a strong cardiac tele background. Must be able to decrease cardiac drips per physicians’ orders and parameters. Nurses will be caring for more tele patients VS medical. MS/Tele travelers DO NOT need prior travel experience. RNs required to titrate drips. Nurses must be able to read & interpret strips. Required credentials: Required to pass a Basic Dysrhythmia/EKG exam during onboarding through RELIAS, only (with 2 MAX attempts). There is also a PASS/FAIL SIM LAB on day one of orientation (study guides will be provided with first day instructions.) Shift & schedule requirements: 4 weekend shifts per 4 week schedule; must work 2 of 4 major holidays; first to float. Ability to self-schedule; however this could change from time to time. Weekend Requirement 4 weekend shifts in a 4 week schedule. Holiday Requirement Rotate in with the perm staff Is there a call or standby requirement? No call required Floating requirements: Would float to med/surg/tele/overflow units and CRMC/MGMC Eds as needed. Special request requirements: May be asked to help with ED patients including vitals, IV starts and medication administration. Will not be asked to be primary RN for ED patient assignment.
