Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Prescott Valley, AZ Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,180 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/10/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Multi Care Unit / ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Nights EOW Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years of ICU experience License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Clinician must take and pass dysrhythmia exam within two attempts prior to signing contract. - Candidates may not have worked full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with the system within the past year. - Must have experience in ICU and PCU/Med Surge in larger facilities. Description: Unit is a combined acuity unit. Number of beds: 10. Ratios depend on acuity: ICU 1:2, PCU 1:4, MST 1:5-6. If no nurse aid present, RN will take 3 primary care patients. Required certifications include BLS and ACLS. Common diagnoses include sepsis, COPD, respiratory arrest, and post-operative complications. Experience in titrating drips is required. Common titratable and/or set rate drips include sedation, vasopressors, and insulin. The charge nurse manages 50 inpatient beds. There are nurse aids on the unit taking 10-15 patients. Respiratory Therapy equipment includes vents, CPAP, and BiPAP. Telemetry is available; remote monitor techs support monitoring. RNs must take 12-lead EKGs. Shifts are scheduled 12 hours, with specific weekend rotation requirements. Holiday rotation will distribute holidays fairly. If low census occurs, staff will rotate standby turns. Floating to other units may be required to maintain competency. Two hours notice will be given before floating. Scrub color is flexible except for camouflage.
